Same Day Service

We offer same day service to our customers at no extra charge. If your heating or cooling system is completely down, please call us at (205) 871-8111. We will schedule a technician to visit you as soon as possible.

Easy Scheduling

When you call Brown Heating and Cooling, you will be greeted by one of our friendly office staff members. They will help you save time and money by encouraging you to change the batteries in your thermostat, change the filter or check the breaker. You would be surprised how many service calls we have prevented by these easy do-it-yourself tips.

If we are not able to help you over the phone, we will gather more information so we can play match maker. We want to send the technician that is the best fit for your problem.

We will schedule an appointment that is convenient for you. The technician will call you when they are on their way to confirm the appointment and give you time to get ready.

Being on time is important to us, so if we expect a delay, we will let you know immediately.

Diagnose the Problem & Present Your Options

The technician will greet you with a smile wearing a uniform and shoe covers to protect your property. He will ask you a few questions to learn more about the problem you are experiencing with your air conditioner or heater.

He will perform an initial inspection of your heating and cooling system to help him diagnose the problem. Our diagnostic fee is $89. This fee helps us cover the expenses associated with the time and travel required to diagnose the problem and provide our expert opinion based on years of experience and training.

The technician will take the time to explain the problem and the steps we need to take to fix the problem. He will even share pictures and a video, because we often work in tight spaces that make it hard for you to see the problem in the crawl space or attic.

He will present options for you to consider including prices, warranties and guarantees. Plus, he will give you his professional opinion based on his years of experience and your special circumstances to help you weigh your options and make an informed decision.

You will have plenty of time to ask questions. The last thing we want you to experience is buyer’s regret.

Done Right the First Time

After you weigh your options and select the right one for you, the highly trained technician will get to work, so you will be back in your comfort zone as soon as possible.

Most repairs can be completed on the same day, because we have the part on the truck. In some cases, the part will need to be ordered. We will promptly order the part and contact you to schedule an appointment that is convenient for you.

When the job is complete, our certified technician will test the system and clean up.

The technician will give you the opportunity to review the work order on his iPad and he will process your payment. Our system will email you a copy of the work order including notes and pictures, if any.
