Whenever you opt to use our company for your heating and cooling service needs, we will make sure you know and understand the warranties involved with your specific project.
Service and Maintenance Warranty
We provide a one year labor warranty from the date of service. If the same problem happens again within one year of the invoice date, give us a call, and we will fix the problem at no charge.
The manufacturer’s warranty on parts is generally one year, although some parts may have a 5-year warranty. Your technician will let you know the specifics for the part that was replaced.
New Equipment Installation Warranty
Brown Heating & Cooling provides a one year labor warranty on newly installed heating or cooling systems from the date of installation related to parts covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
In addition, systems come with a manufacturer’s warranty that varies from brand to brand. We highly recommend American Standard equipment, as it comes with a 10-year standard parts limited warranty. The warranty covers the parts inside of the HVAC equipment. It does not include anything external such as ductwork, fuses, breakers, drain lines, etc. If the problem is outside of the unit, even if attached, it is not covered.
No part of the warranty covers improper operation of the equipment, improper maintenance, acts of God, dirty filters, clogged condensate drains, thermostat batteries, dirty condenser or evaporator coils, or service calls where no problems are found.
The equipment manufacturer and Brown reserve the right to refuse the warranty on any equipment that has not been properly maintained.
Brown Heating & Cooling is happy to provide these warranties for work that has been paid in full. The warranties are limited to the actual invoice amount for service.
